Olivera Markovic

Olivera Markovic aka Olya is what you call a global Epicurean – she’s Berlin-born, Serbian raised, has lived in different parts of Europe and is a LA local.
She’s an entrepreneur and wine enthusiast, having worked in every aspect of the wine industry from rating wines alongside her former boss and mentor, Anthony Dias Blue, for whom she created the Blue Lifestyle Seal of Approval.

She has also helped organize the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition and San Francisco International Wine Competition in 2017. From there she took a new role as Wine Director for a Wine Subscription start-up called Taste it Wines (DBA In Good Taste Wines) where she selected and rated wines were included in the monthly wine boxes.

Olya has also worked in the tough distribution game handling Sales and Marketing for a boutique importer in California. Her extensive background has given her the opportunity and confidence to create some disruptive marketing strategies for brands she used to work with.

She is a Creative Strategist who is an expert in thinking outside the box, having spent the last 6 years working in the wine game and mastering it. When she’s not sipping wine she’s probably busy bringing creative business ideas to life.
