New Jersey born Rick Arline got his first taste of hospitality while working in a country club in high school. After getting a communications degree from the University of Miami, Rick worked in radio, then shifted back towards hospitality, his true passion. After falling in love with wine and spirits, Rick became a Certified Sommelier in 2012. Moving to Los Angeles in 2013, Rick has been involved with the wine programs at several restaurants and hotels, including Nick & Stef’s, Ink, Montage Beverly Hills and Hotel Bel-Air before becoming the Wine Director at the acclaimed, James Beard-nominated Auburn. After Auburn’s closure due to Covid-19, Rick will be opening his own wine bar in West Hollywood, called Fellow Traveler.
