Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I submit samples from outside the US even though I have no Importer?

Yes, you can. We have partnered with Park Street Imports LLC. in order for you to be able to enter. Before sending your shipment, please contact Park Street Imports so they can prepare all of the necessary paperwork so your products can be cleared at customs.

Do I need to pay a fee for the Import Assistance?

Yes, the import assistance fee is $50 per COLA waiver/shipment.

When is the competition?

The competition starts Wednesday, May 13th 2020.

Why is the competition a whole week?

We have decided to shorten the time that our judges will be evaluating the samples entered. We believe more than 5 hours of blind tasting can compromise the taste buds and therefore compromise the proper evaluation. We value your products and want to give them the attention they deserve.

When will the results be published?

The Results will be published on April 13th, 2020.

Can I enter the same product in two different classification codes?

Yes you can, only if the product fits in both classification codes. The Millennial Wine Beer & Spirits Competition withholds the right to adjust entries if determined it was entered in the wrong classification code.

What is the deadline for submissions?

Registration will close on May 6th, 2020.

What is the last date samples will be accepted in our warehouse?

All samples must be delivered to our warehouse by March 30th, 2020.

What is the last day PARK STREET IMPORTS can assist us with the import process?

The last day to submit your products to Park Street Imports March 15th, 2020 to ensure ample time to process your Cola waivers and clear customs.

Where can I find the registration form and classification codes?

The Submission form and Classification codes can be found at the REGISTRATION page. Click the following links for wine and for spirits.

I have received a discount code, does it apply for each entry or only to the sum total?

If you have received a discount code, it will apply for each submission you enter.

Where will the results be featured?

We are currently working on partnering up with an online magazine to feature all of the medal winning products. Additionally, we are encouraging all of our judges to post the winning products on their social media platforms.

Who are the judges?

We have selected a team of social media influencers in the world of wine/spirits/lifestyle and food. We believe all of these industries go hand in hand. You can check out the full list of judges here.

What is a social media Influencer?

A Social Media Influencer is a user of certain social media platforms who establishes credibility in a specific industry. They have access to a large audience and can persuade others by virtue of their authenticity and reach. They are individuals who have the power to affect purchase decisions of others because of his/her authority, knowledge, position or relationship with his/her audience. These Influencers have a following in a particular niche, which they actively engage with and their following size depends on the size of the niche. In this generation, social media Influencers have a huge grasp on consumers.

What if my product has not been awarded a medal?

In order to protect the reputations of those brands that were not awarded medals we have chosen not to disclose the names of all those who have entered. Our privacy policy is founded on the belief that every brand should have the opportunity to improve the quality of their product, maintaining a clean slate for future competition.
